Sorry everyone for keeping you waiting! I know I promised mid January-ish but I didn’t get to it yet due to events in my personal life that needed my attention ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hope it’s worth the wait for you guys, but here it is ๐Ÿ™‚

Please note that both versions are 100% identical, the only difference is actually the check the webOS Doctor performs when trying to update. The AT&T version doesn’t work on EU version and vice versa, hence they both have their own files.

This will update your Veer to 2.2.4 which offers TTS, Skype support, Enyo and all other goodies introduced with 2.2.4.

It’s as close to an official Doctor from HP as it will ever get.

In the process of getting this tested and out to you guys I managed to brick 2 HP Veers and so far these haven’t been revived yet. I would really appreciate a small donation for all the hard work and to get the Veers revived again.

  7. Hi Herrie, thank you for WebOS Doctor 2.2.4 for Veer , it’s really awesome . I installed successful but there are issue i met, when i’m on call Veer is restart suddenly, Do you know any solution for this ?

  11. Thank you so much for the update! Got it installed with no problems, however a few have came up after the update. I had the phone reset during call problem and tried the patch, but it failed to work. Also I notice that app catalog AND preware apps/patches are now limited?? I don’t understand how this can be. I know normally the app catalog has an update (in system updates), but ota updates won’t work now…for obvious reasons lol. Any ideas?

    also… LOVE the new youtube! (can again post/share to FB etc.) and facebook is back to the way it was (x.facebook.com rather than m.facebook.com and https works much better).

  12. Preware patches are not working (many are non-existent), which is my main issue. It seems like I had to update preware when I had 2.1 as well as the app catalog, which may be the problem. My original versions (paid apps) of kalemsoft, duck hunt xD, and deer hunting game are listed in Impostah but nowhere to be found. Tried searching forums for this, but have had no luck…

    Other than that…THANKS A LOT for the patch!!

  18. the doctor solution for 2.2.4 is great. I used to do it with the step by step instructions before this. I recently got another veer and tried with this unattended webos doctor, and it worked in the beginning, but some days later the volume buttons dont work very well, and the voice search keeps popping up without pressing volume up. I’m not sure if it’s a software issue because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. but since the phone didn’t fell or anything, I don’t know what could be the problem. I tried reverting to 2.1.2 but I’m afraid that doesn’t fully revert. I think before this there were some options to not upgrade the modem or something, and I don’t know if the webos doctor way updates the modem, and if it has anything to do with my problem. can anyone tell me anything?
